I finished the second week of college football winning 64% of my bets! This week in college football, there are a few lines that have made major moves with the public on the opposite side. I’m going to continue to follow the money and see if I can keep the heater going. As always, good luck to all you degenerates and Bet Goodenough!

Season Before Week 3: 24-14-4 (63.16%)

Week 3: 7-4-1 (63.6%)

Season After Week 3: 31-18-5 (63.3%)

Michigan St. +7 $$

  • 73% of the Public is on the MSU.
  • The line has moved from +16 to +7.
  • This is a straight big money play. The line moving 9 points in favor of Miami, tells me there is a TON of money on MSU and I’m following it.
  • I would book this line down to +6.5, but definitely shop around!
  • 77% of the Public is on BC.
  • The line has moved from 17 to 16, indicating sharp action on Temple.
  • This line moving a point in BC’s favor with the 77% of public on BC, tells me there is a good amount of sharp money on Temple.
  • I placed my bet at +17, but would book this line down to +16.

West Virginia -3 $$

  • 67% of the Public is on Va Tech.
  • The line has moved from 2.5 to 3, indicating sharp action on West Virginia.
  • This line moving a half point in Va Tech’s favor with the 67% of public on Va Tech, tells me there is a good amount of sharp money on West Virginia.
  • Lay the three points with West Virginia.

Tulsa +27 $$

  • 87% of the Public is on Ohio State.
  • The line opened at 25, moved up to 27.5 early in the week, and recently the line has moved back down to 25, indicating heavy sharp action on Tulsa.
  • Book this line down to +25.

Duke +3 $$

  • 81% of the Public is on Northwestern.
  • The line has moved from +9.5 to +3, indicating MAJOR sharp action on Duke.
  • Northwestern seems to be in their “rebuild every two years” phase of the program.
  • Book this line at +3.
  • 56% of the Public is on UTSA.
  • The line has moved from 14 to 12.5 in favor of UTSA, indicating some sharp action on MTSU.
  • I’d like to see 60%+ on UTSA, but I still like this line down to +13.

ECU +10 $$

  • 81% of the Public is on Marshall.
  • The line has stayed within a point, moving from 9 to 10. With 81% of the public on Marshall, there seems to be a good amount of money on ECU keeping the line within a point.
  • Fade the public here and book the Pirates at +10.
  • 73% of the Public is on South Carolina.
  • The line has moved from 30.5 to 31.5, indicating sharp action on Georgia.
  • Book this line up to -31.5, but definitely shop around!
  • 72% of the Public is on Ol’ Miss.
  • The line has stayed steady at 14, indicating a good amount of sharp action on Tulane.
  • Book Tulane at +14 and ride the wave!

Late Additions

$$ Louisville +7 – This one makes me nervous with the way Louisville has played so far, but with 67% of the public on UCF, this line has moved from 7.5 to 7. An indicator of late sharp action on Louisville, moving the line a half point in UCF’s favor. Follow the Money and don’t watch if you have heart problems!

$$ Georgia Tech +28 – This is another one that makes me nervous, having a loss to Northern Illinois on the board.. But with 74%(!!!) of the public on Clemson and the line moving from 29 to 28, it is another indication there is late sharp action on this line. Once again, don’t look at this game until it says FINAL.
